US Navy at Binictican Water Treatment Plant

Late in June, SUBICWATER opened its doors to welcome visitors from the US Navy, who participated in a tour of the Binictican Water Treatment Plant (BWTP). Representatives from various departments of their team were briefed on the entire water treatment process of the plant, including the transportation of the water from the raw water source all the way to the monitoring of the water quality.

The guests were also shown the DOH-accredited Central Laboratory of the BWTP, where water testing is conducted to monitor the quality of sampling points around the Subic Bay Freeport and Olongapo.
