SUBICWATER Commissions NCT-STP in Lower Cubi Area

On April 26, 2019, SUBICWATER officially commissioned its new Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at the New Container Terminal (NCT) inside the Subic Bay Freeport Zone (SBFZ). With the new facility, wastewater from the locators in the Lower Cubi Area will be able to undergo the proper treatment process, before it is released into the sea.

Located along San Bernardino Road, the NCT-STP has a capacity of 200 cubic meters per day, which will sufficiently accommodate the sewage treatment demands of companies and establishments in the vicinity like All Hands Beach, Subic Bay International Terminal Corporation, and Aim High Logistics.

The NCT-STP will be able to treat wastewater from locators in the Lower Cubi Area.

SUBICWATER is now operating a total of seven STPs- all situated inside the Subic Bay Freeport Zone. Aside from STPs, SUBICWATER also has two water treatment plants located in Binictican, Subic Bay Freeport, and in Mabayuan, Olongapo City.
