FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. How is my monthly bill computed?
Ans : The amount of water consumed is derived by deducting the previous reading (last month) from the current reading. It is then computed based on our approved water rates according to the amount of water consumed.

Example:
PRES Reading: 321
PREV Reading: 303
Consumption: 18


2. How much is the penalty if I’m unable to pay on the due date?
Ans : The bill is subjected to a 2% penalty compounded monthly.

3. When is the best time to pay my bills?
Ans : On or before the due date indicated on your bill or not more than 20 days from receipt of your bill to avoid penalty. Our Collection office is open Mon- Fri, 7:30am - 4:00pm and Saturday, from 8:00am - 3:00pm.

4. How long does it take before my line gets disconnected?
Ans : Accounts with over 60 days arrears or 2 months unpaid billings are due for disconnection.

5. How much is the reconnection fee?
Ans : The amount of Php 300 shall be paid for reconnection.

6. What numbers should I contact to report a leak, violation or file a complaint?
Ans : You may call the following numbers: 252- 2960-61, 252-1122 & 222-4600 or you may also text 09083056275 and 09165776763 for your billing inquiries, leaks, violation reports, complaint and other service inquiries using the following keywords: BILL, LEAK, REPORT, COMPLAINT and INQUIRE

7. Do I get an incentive if I report a violation?
Ans : Yes. Once the reported violation is validated and is proven correct, an incentive of Php 2,000 is given if the violator is a residential customer and Php 5,000 if the violator is a commercial establishment.

8. What do I do if I misplaced my water bill?
Ans : You may proceed directly to our Customer Service Center and ask our Customer Service associate for Assistance.

9. What is the procedure for meter-related requests?
STEP 1. Proceed to Subicwater Office in Subic Bay Freeport Zone or call our customer service at 252-2960-2961. Bring/ prepare your latest bill to facilitate the verification of your account.
STEP 2. File your complaint/ request to the Customer Care Division. After verification from our computer records, our Customer Service Associate will prepare a work request.
STEP 3. Sign the work request, a copy of which will be provided to you.
STEP 4. The work request will then be forwarded to our Technical Services Division for action.
STEP 5. Upon accomplishment of the work, you will be asked to acknowledge the work done by signing on the work request.

10. What is the procedure for application for service connection?
STEP 1. Proceed to Subicwater Office in Subic Bay Freeport Zone or call our customer service at 252-2960-2961. Bring your latest bill to facilitate the verification of your account.
STEP 2. Secure a service application form from the Customer Care Division.
STEP 3. Fill-out the service application form.
STEP 4. Submit the completed form together with photocopies of required documents.
STEP 5. Settle your account if you have outstanding arrears.
STEP 6. Wait for our Estimator who will visit your place to estimate the costs to be incurred in the installation of your service connection.
STEP 7. Ask for statement of charges from our Customer Care Division three days after the inspection.
STEP 8. Pay the bills as reflected on the statement of charges.

11. Is it safe to drink the water produced by Subicwater?
Ans : Yes. Aside from undergoing various treatment processes such us mixing, coagulation and flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, disinfection and distribution, monitoring of water quality at various stages of the process is also being undertaken. Water quality is constantly tested in the distribution line to ensure the water’s potability. Daily samples are taken from various sampling points within the Franchise Area and subjected to bacteriological testing as well as analysis for chlorine content & pH. Test results are analyzed against World Health Organization guidelines for drinking water and Philippine National Standard for Drinking Water.

12. I have doubts on the quality of my tap water, can I request for a special water testing?
Ans : Yes you can. Proceed to our Customer Service Department or call our office to request for a water testing.

13. How much does water testing cost?
Ans : It’s free of charge for Subicwater customers. However, we charge Php 430 for water refilling stations and other water districts.
