Through its Information & Education Committee (IEC), the company initiated the holding of barangay-level orientation on the Clean Water Act and Subicwater's 2020 Sewerage Master Plan. This was initially held in Brgys. Sta. Rita and West Bajac-Bajac last February 15 and March 17 respectively.

The orientation was intended for members of the barangay councils and purok leaders. The aim is to inform them about the law and the importance of protecting the bodies of water through proper sanitation and proper disposal of pollutants were stressed.

Initial feedback gathered from the barangay officials who attended these learning sessions proved that such was a worthwhile opportunity for them to know essential and informative facts about the environmental program of Subicwater. Aside from the orientation, handouts about the Clean Water Act were given to the barangay officials for dissemination to their constituents. They committed to work hand in hand with Subicwater in its advocacy.

It could be recalled that IEC had just recently completed its series of orientations in various schools, both in private and public, for the same purpose.
