Subicwater Retains Its 3 ISO Certificates

The intention was to standardize and to systematize in order to ensure consistency in doing certain tasks, and to ascertain if there was a better way of doing these in the most effective way. Achieving excellence in terms of quality of water and services was the driving force in the journey to certifications. Thus, procedures were written down, documents were organized and basic functions were streamlined. Undeniably, Subicwater's ultimate objective is not only to achieve "CUSTOMER SATISFACTION", but to exceed "CUSTOMERS' EXPECTATIONS. To ensure that these written procedures are consistently being complied with, regular Integrated Management System Audits were conducted by a pool of in-house experts on the three (3) ISO standards. Through these, early occurence of errors in processes or procedures is detected before these lead to major problems.

The requirements of the three (3) international standards (ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 & OHSAS 18001:2007) were audited against Subicwater's systems. Manuals, procedures, work instructions, and all other documents were examined, and records were checked as part of the confirmation that these written procedures are consistently adhered to in all levels of the organization.

Truly, once again this is a confirmation that the company's processes lead to excellent product and services to its customers, while at the same time ensuring that it is true to its commitment to protect the environment in all aspects of its operations, to comply with all applicable legal requirements, and to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for its people.

Subicwater successfully hurdled last March 24 & 25, 2010 the certification audit conducted by TUV Rheinland, an international certifying body. This is the 3rd time that the company retains its 3 certifications to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 & OHSAS 18001:2007. The audit covered all aspects of the business, from water abstraction and treatment, distribution, customer servicing, sewage collection and treatment, and all the internal support services.

It was almost a decade now since Subicwater pusrsued its ISO certifications.
