On September 25, 2019, members of the top management team of SUBICWATER, along with select department managers, participated in an open discussion with the Technopreneurship and Collaborative Applied Research Faculty of the Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP).

The goal of the meeting was to identify pertinent issues and explore potential solutions that may be developed and implemented in partnership with the TIP. One such solution being discussed was a more efficient means of monitoring rainfall and streamflow, which would greatly help in improving the management of water supply, especially during the dry months in the country.

At the end of the dialogue, SUBICWATER CEO Benjamin E. Antonio III, and TIP Senior Vice President Angelo Q. Lahoz inked the intention to collaborate, which would soon be followed by a Memorandum of Agreement signing to signify the partnership between the water utility services provider and academic institution.
